I think the only thing more pleasing then watching the Celtics lose the finals, is that the NBA finals are over. Is there a bigger crap shoot then the NBA right now? They are like a bunch of soccer players bitching over every little thing. I cannot believe this is tolerated by the officials, which leads me to the following five rule changes to improve the National Basketball Association.

The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls.
If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. ( I got to 24.7 so I rule) It’s been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes.
This can get addictive…… TMTMTL@RollinSD.com
Apparently the NAACP can now fabricate racism, and in the process make a $4 billion company pull a product. Hallmark had a talking graduation card on the market for three years and has now been intimidated into pulling it from the shelves. The card has an outer space theme and encourages the graduate to conquer the universe, even “black holes.”

LOS ANGELES — A space-themed, talking Hallmark graduation card is being pulled from store shelves because of the card’s reference to a black hole.
But members of the Los Angeles NAACP say the message sounds like “black whore” in the card’s audio recording. That’s how they hear it, and they say it’s racist, KABC-TV in Los Angeles reported. Entire Story

Nobody really knows how they were built, but watching these video’s will make you think it was possible. Just imagine what these guys could do with a crane and a few motor operated machines. No wonder 80% of the US is overweight. We are just plain lazy compared to these guys. TMTMTL@RollinSD.com
So I am sitting here at my desk and just cracked my 5th Bud Light for the night. My computer and desk start shaking. My son yells from his room, “Holy shit, did you feel that?!?” Normally I would be mad at him for saying that as he is only 10, but damn, the house was shaking so I gave him a pass. Just looked it up and it was a 5.9 at the epicenter a few miles south of Ocotillo. The video is much more exciting than what happened in my house, but still being a West Coast transplant, earthquakes kind of freak me out a bit. In the video, I feel like I am watching some fat kid walk to the end of the diving board and jump a few times, but he’s afraid to get off the board so he just keeps going up and down for a while. Oh well. I will take Earthquakes any day of the week as opposed to floods, tornado’s and just plain crappy weather the rest of the country experiences all the time. TMTMTL@RollinSD.com
An earthquake has been felt in the San Diego area. The USGS website initially reported a 5.9 magnitude earthquake just five miles southeast of Ocotillo, California.
For those of you under a sporting rock the USC Trojans were recently placed on punishment by the NCAA. This is the gist of it “penalties include the loss of 30 football scholarships over three years and vacating 14 victories in which Bush played from December 2004 through the 2005 season. USC beat Oklahoma in the BCS title game on Jan. 4, 2005 and won 12 games during Bush’s Heisman-winning 2005 season, which ended with a loss to Texas in the BCS title game.” My simple question is this, how did any of his actions affect his on the field play? This is absolute bull-shit and for the record I hate USC. The NCAA needs to wake up and understand that kids need to be paid. These Universities rake in millions of dollars each year off these kids and now are shocked by the bank account of one athlete in college? How does that compute? How many others where there, because I know Bush was not the only one?
Now, I know all of you non-athletes are thinking, “These athletes make a ton of money in college, whether it is room and board, food or text books, these guys are getting boatloads of money for their tuition.” But let me ask you this, how does a student athlete afford anything else while playing the game? I played collegiately, at a small school that no one has ever heard of but let me tell you, when you are in that scene, that is all you have time for. A job is out of the question. Anyone that tells you different was not on the level. Reggie got paid and on behalf of all players who have ever played there, congrats. The collegiate level is not High School, it’s a full time job that asks for your full time commitment and it’s not 40 hours a week. It requires at least 60 and that’s if you’re the fucking kicker. Whether it is a sport related function or not, you must behave as if it is game time. Your body is your instrument and you better not mistreat it or the new guy will take your spot and oh by the way, you have Sociology at fucking 7:00 am every Monday and Wednesday, not to mention the rest of your full load you have to take to be on the field. Having said that, I know everyone here did all those units, but try doing it when you have to figure out how to beat a human being that is twice your size, with the same speed, forget it. That is unrealistic and archaic.
The problem with today’s society is everyone treating everyone equal. Jealousy needs to stop. Just because you can’t do it, does not mean that another human being needs to be shut down. There were no “real” illegal actions except for a kid with an opportunity to make some money when there wasn’t anything guaranteed yet. He didn’t juice, he didn’t enhance his play illegally, so why then the punishment? He took a sure thing at a time when nothing sure was guaranteed and if you have ever played a sport you understand this. Our society needs to change right now and unfortunately it needs to start with sports.
Whether you want to hear it or not college athletes SHOULD be held at a different standard. They are different. They go through a daily mental and physical strain that needs to be recognized because unless you have been through it, you don’t know. And if you’re not sure, you haven’t. Put it this way, at your banking, fast food or executive job, have you ever had to walk into work the next day after being ran into 60 times at full speed in a single day? Well if you have, good for you because you are getting paid, these college athletes are not. TheTruth@RollinSD.com
This is just one example of how idiotic and incompetent the Federal Gov’t is – An apparently busty attorney was denied entry to a federal detention center in Miami because the underwire in her bra set off the metal detector. That shouldn’t be an issue because the female warden had previously issued an internal memo creating an exception for underwire bras. When the attorney was denied entry, she went to the ladies room and took off her bra.
After passing through the metal detector, she was then denied entry because the facility’s dress code requires women to wear a bra. At least in this federal facility, the dress code (approved exception notwithstanding) supersedes the Constitutional right to an attorney. The government will continue to erode our Constitutional rights, sometimes in small steps, as discussed here, and sometimes in mammoth steps, like it did last year with health care reform. I spent a year in law school studying the Constitution; nowhere in it (or the Bill of Rights) does it grant the right to health care. -Creed@RollinSD.com
Florida Attorney Barred From Jail Over Bra, Then for Taking Bra Off
Published June 12, 2010b NewsCore
An attorney in Miami was prevented from seeing one of her clients at a federal detention center due to the metal underwire in her bra, and then again for not wearing a bra, The Miami Herald reported Saturday.
Brittney Horstman attempted to visit a client held at the Miami Federal Detention Center, but security guards would not allow her to enter because the metal in her underwire bra set off the facility’s metal detectors. An internal Detention Center memo makes an exception for underwire bras, but guards still refused Horstman entry.
Horstman removed the bra in a bathroom and passed the metal detectors, but was then told that going braless was a violation of prison dress code guidelines, which also forbid women from wearing low-cut blouses or dresses, leotards, sundresses or “any type of garment that is see-through . . . or clothing that is tight and sexually suggestive or revealing.” The dress code requires that women wear bras but does not forbid underwire bras. complete story

Ok, a post is up for a few hours and one of our Rollers sends an email to a friend saying, You like stupid people, then check this guy out. I don’t really know what to say about this, but am putting it up as a public service warning to everyone. There is a massive earthquake coming in September so get ready now. Colorado, Idaho and Arizona please get ready too. If you know anyone in those states please forward this to them because if you don’t and something bad happens because they are not prepared it is all on you. I honestly was waiting for the telephone pole behind him to land on his head or a seagull to fly into his ear. Thanks Don for forwarding the video on. Send me what you have and if worthy you will get it posted. Remember this site if for you the readers so if you want something just ask. It doesn’t mean you will get it, but if it is good you just might. TMTMTL@RollinSD.com

Every year, the LSU Alumni put on the Craw Fish Boil over Memorial Day weekend. There are 3000+ there and they bring the craw fish in live from Louisiana on a truck. The gates open at 11 and each table gets 50 lbs of craw fish, potatoes and corn. The beer is free all day long also , which obviously doesn’t suck. I have been going for the past few years with a small group of people and it is amazing. It really doesn’t need to be promoted as they always sell out in under an hour. This year, we were some of the last to leave and this is what we saw when we got back to our car. When we arrived, there was no where to park and now this guy. I really thought he was dead. Passed out cold on the pavement. Just awesome.! I am hoping this gets around and the photo actually gets back to the guy. I thought I drank like a fish and was a mess, but after seeing this guy I feel like a pussy. He is my hero. Please forward to everyone in SD you know in the hopes we find this character. The kid from the 6th Sense said, “I see dead people”. I say, “I love stupid people”. The internet is great for so many reasons. Information is at your finger tips in seconds, you can communicate with friends easily, share information with others and even log onto your work email from home. The best thing about the internet is, it lets the idiots of the world show us just how stupid they really are. Who doesn’t know what is going to happen in this video within the first 2 seconds of watching it? Hell, you don’t even need to start the video. You can just look at the first photo and know what is going to happen. This was more predictable them me knowing my wife was going to ask me if I signed the two boys up for soccer within the first 15 seconds of me walking in the door. I will have to tell her I only signed one up because the site couldn’t locate my oldest. Then she will say, but he played last year, we only have 3 days to sign him up before the deadline, did you email the league? who can you call? are you sure you were using the website correctly? I am willing to bet all these (and probably more!) will be asked, maybe not in that order but they will be asked. Even knowing this, I was still a little more sure I knew the ending of this video. Enjoy, and send me any videos you come across that make the average person look just a little smarter. TMTMTL@RollinSD.com
Why do the young always have to suffer? This poor girl can’t even afford shoes. I hope she isn’t suffering too much.
