Greatest Punter Tackles Ever?

Being a punter in football is really not a glamorous position.  You get to go out on the field a few times a game and kick the ball.  Every once and a while, you really let one go and you get props from your team.  Other times, you shank one like the Jets kicker did on Monday night and you are the goat.  Check out this first video of Jason Baker of the Carolina Panthers tackle of Leon Washington.  Washington raises his finger a bit early, as he thought he had the touchdown.  Baker says oh not so soon my friend and dives and just slaps his right foot.  It’s just like when you were a kid walking behind you buddy in high school. You would kick his foot into his other and trip him up.  Only this time it was done on national TV for everyone to see.  You think  Washington took shit in the locker room for this?  Now, look at the 2nd tackle from punter Hunter Smith on Deion Sanders.  I love Madden talking about when speaking with Deion the other day, Deion said that if he ever looks into the eyes of the punter he knows it’s a touchdown. Oh, is that so Deion?  I just love how Deion plays the crowd before the play; jumping and dancing around and then has the TD, but goes into celebration mode a bit too early.  Who took more shit from their team?

Hunter Smith Tackling Deion Sanders

I miss Deion… The guy was sick… brought some personality to the game and could just bring it when he was on the field. what ever happened to his tv show?
